Hands in Clay offers a fun, relaxed environment to explore the exciting world of pottery. Beginner classes start off on the wheel with a basic introduction to pottery making and the studio experience. Intermediate classes focus more on where an individual student has been and where they want to go. All classes are project oriented with most of the attention going to beginner students and their projects. Each session also includes a handbuilding class where the student is provided an opportunity for making something larger and more dramatic. Classes are once a week for a six week session. You pick a class time where we have openings, and that is your spot! If you can’t make a particular class we are flexible with makeup classes.
